Have you recently been made redundant, or are you a business based in Tees Valley, York, North Yorkshire or East Riding undergoing restructure or making redundancies? Both individuals and employers can access fully funded training to support the achievement of new skills.

Businesses

Are you a business based in York, North Yorkshire, East Riding or Tees Valley region undergoing restructuring or business closure with employees at risk of redundancy (or where formal consultation has commenced)? If so, you may be eligible for free support through the European Social Fund to support your employees brush up on existing skills, or re-skill in a new area to progress in education or gain employment.

Training can help improve your employees’ future career opportunities by developing existing skills, or re-training to start a new career path.

Planned around your business’s needs, training can be scheduled around work patterns and availability.

 

Individuals

Have you recently been made redundant (within the last three months) and are you residing within the York, North Yorkshire, East Riding or Tees Valley region?  If so, you may be eligible for free support through the European Social Fund to support you and brush you up on existing skills or re-skill in a new area to gain employment.

Training can help improve your future career opportunities by developing existing skills, or re-training to start a new career path.

This support is available through the Skills Support for the Workforce and redundancy programme, and is co-financed by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund.
